About Us

We hold regular meetings at the premises of our host, Wirral LA21 Network; so far, these have attracted interest from a wide range of Wirral organisations and individuals. We also have expressions of support from the Chief Executive of Wirral Borough Council, the Head of Technical Services, and The Charlesworth Group, for which acknowledgement we are grateful.

Our membership consists of a mix of individuals, and people representing organisations including as 'Friends' groups. Jon Stokes from The Tree Council kindly visited us to give guidance, and has approved topics and targets we submitted to him for the first three years of the network's operation.

We are now raising public awareness of what we intend to do, and recruiting people who would like to act as Tree Wardens in their home areas.

Posters and leaflets have been sent to libraries and other venues. The Charlesworth Group kindly donated money to set up a tabletop display board, that toured Wirral's libraries last year, and will be used at various events.
